The Lodges at Cresthaven

Beautiful spot, large, comfortable room with a beautiful balcony and view. We did have two issues: there was no reading light on one side of the bed and the remote for the tv didn't work, even after the office promised to have it fixed.

We came in the winter. Our room was so warm and the amazing view of the lake was exceptional. There’s no housekeeping service but that didn’t bother us as we did not mind reusing towels. The only thing that was not great was that the hotel room walls are wood so you hear everything the people are saying in the room next door. Otherwise I totally recommend staying here in the winter.

This is a great location on the most beautiful lake in the US..(according to Thomas Jefferson.) Great place to stay.. great place to have a drink looking at the lake. Lots of fun things you can do here

The lodges themselves are beautiful on the inside, however the bedrooms especially were very dark. The lighting in there definitely wasn't adequate at all, however we weren't spending our days inside the lodge so it wasn't too much of an issue. The terrain around the lodges is extremely steep, windy and a pretty decent walking distance, making it a little trying to get around to the pool and beach areas. The pool area is nice, however I can't imagine more than 5 or 8 people could fit in it comfortably. The beach area was pretty small and it's really rocky, so don't plan on making any sand castles or otherwise spending too much time in the sand. The swimming area is roped off only about 20 feet from the shore and the width probably isn't any more than 50 feet. Although there aren't any signs, the water activities (kayaking and paddle boarding) ends at 3pm, which was a disappointment to our group since we went out to the beach area at 4pm. We had to wander around for awhile before finding anyone that could give us information about where to obtain paddles/Kara since there aren't any on the beach where the kayaks and paddle boards are stored.

This is our 3rd year returning to The Lodges at Cresthaven and each year gets better and better! The rooms are spacious and so clean. We stay in the Oak Tree Lodge and have the most Beautiful view with a huge balcony. These rooms have two large bedrooms with a large common area and kitchen in between. There are two large modern bathrooms as well. It’s perfect for our family. There are daily activities that keep our boys (ages 8 and 10) busy, their most favorite day is Carnival Day where they get fresh popcorn and snow cones by the pool. The pool is beautiful and overlooking the lake. The boathouse restaurant is perfect for lunch and they even have service by the pool on most days. There is a nice beach and they have smores and bonfires at night and live music on the beach. It’s truly the best place to stay in Lake George.The grounds are very well maintained and the staff are all friendly and helpful especially Liana. We can’t wait to come back again next year and make more memories !

This is a must visit location! You will experience top notch customer service, clean rooms, beautiful decor, breathtaking views, lovely amenities all set in a lodge like setting. This place is amazing! There's plenty to do on site too from a heated pool and hot tub to outdoor games for anyone, a private beach and seating included. You can sun bathe on their patio or sit out on your own private balcony patio with table and chairs overlooking Lake George. It's so cozy and comfortable with a very Adirondack feel. I can't wait to go back! The room we stayed in had everything we could need included. A beautiful bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub, a closet, a lovely kitchenette with sink, fridge, microwave and utensils and plates and cups in the cabinets. You literally have everything you need right there. The bed was so comfortable and there's a nice sized TV too. The sliding glass door to your private balcony overlooking the lake and property was spectacular. I really couldn't find hardly anything to downplay except for the curtains on the sliding glass door should be room darkening and they are not but so still offer complete privacy. I would highly recommend this place for any vacation needs.

This place is gorgeous...we go in the winter and love it. Staff is super friendly. Highly recommend!

It’s always a beautiful time at The Lodges at Cresthaven. The lodges are clean, spacious, and come with beautiful kitchens and bathrooms. The amenities, from the gym to the beach to the entertainment rooms, make every stay even better. The hot tubs can be a hit or miss at times, but it never takes away from the amazing overall experience. It truly feels like our little home away from home.
